Dresden,
Laubegast shipyard
The historic listed Werft (shipyard), whose roots go way back into the 19th century, and has a total of 5,000 square metres (53,800 square feet) of area and a lot size of 33,761 square metres (363,400 square feet). The site is composed with a variety of historic buildings erected in 1895, the slipway and a number of extensions from the GDR and post-reunification periods. Werft Laubegast is a unique and exceptional site in Dresden, which we are looking forward to developing.
What is important for us is preserving the industrial core used by the steamboat companies, as Dresden without Elbe steamers is in comparison to Berlin without the TV tower. In the other areas we will promote usage by light industries and other businesses.
